Kim Dobbins
Owns Horse(s): Yes.
Primary discipline of riding: Trail Riding, Equine Assisted Therapeutic riding volunteer, my horse Diablo is one of the therapy horse volunteers
How often does she ride: 3x a week
Why she is a Kerrits Ambassador: I bought my first horse three years ago; I am one of the many baby boomers who are living this dream. I am living proof that you are never too old to make a dream come true and learn something new that challenges you every day. I love my life!
Her Goals: I am working on becoming a NARHA certified instructor and an EAGALA Equine Specialists. As a dog rescue volunteer I want to continue my efforts to educate people. I am an accountant and enjoy my "day" job as well.
Her Kerrits Story: I recently lost 65 lbs with more to lose. January 2010 I had tried on many breeches at Dover to no avail. Summer 2010 (after I had lost 65 lbs) I went back to try again. To my amazement I could find riding apparel that fit and hands down the Kerrits clothes were my favorites. The first time I went to ride in my new clothes I was so proud and I swear I rode better! :-)
