Kim Baker
Owns Horse(s): Yes, 3 of them.
Primary discipline of riding: Western (pleasure, trail, reining, and looking to start VRH next year)
How often does she ride: 5-6 days a week
Why she is a Kerrits Ambassador: I love your clothing; your breeches are the only ones I will ride in, even when I’m showing that’s what I’m wearing under my chaps. I have the cotton and winter breeches with the western leg that goes over my boots.
Her Goals: To be the best I can be everyday with the horses. I want to help people have better relationships with their horses. I currently show in local class A shows, but I would like to show at regionals and at Scottsdale in the future.
Her Kerrits Story: I bought my first Kerrits jacket back in 2003 and I wore it to the barn every day (still use it today, but need to replace the zipper). I never washed it and it got pretty nasty and my husband complained about me wearing it to places other than the barn. To stop his complaining I bought another jacket that is a non-barn jacket.
