Carol rides at the Advanced level and has successfully taught students through the CCI** level. In May of 2006, Carol placed 6th in the Virginia 3-Day Event CCI* on her horse Utah, and in November of 2006, Carol placed 6th in the Virginia 3-Day Event CCI** on her Australian imported horse Mr. Snuffleuffagus.

Carol coached the Area II Young Riders Team from 2004 - 2006. In 2005, the team won more medals than other team in the country. Carol is currently coaching the Area II Adult Riders for the 2007 season. Carol was featured in a children’s video called “The Little Horse That Could” about her partnership with the Connemara stallion named Hideaway’s Erin Go Bragh. In 2006, Carol was featured in the June issue of Practical Horseman.

In addition to competing, Carol teaches monthly clinics throughout the country and runs a busy teaching and training barn named Mothersfield in Geneseo, New York.
