Bridget Brewer
Owns Horse(s): Yes.
Primary discipline of riding: 3-day Eventing, dressage. Also do lots of trail rides and have shown western in my past.
How often does she ride: 5-6 days/wk
Why she is a Kerrits Ambassador: I am an avid equestrian who enjoys learning about all things horse. I read and research all the time. I attend clinics and explore all types of disciplines and training approaches. My goal is to understand horse behavior and learn how best to ride, train, and treat them. I have a gentle approach that I share with others at the barn. I am often explaining horses' behavioral responses and why they act the way they do to others in the barn.
Her Goals: Personally, I am active in my community through volunteer work and have done considerable support of 4H as well as supporting our non-equestrian community programs like The Forgotten Children Fund or Stand Up.
Professionally I am the president of a medium sized a manufacturing company. I have a mechanical engineering degree that I often use in evaluating horse movement dynamics; I am just completing my MBA. My long term goal is to have a teaching barn where clinics could be held and quality care and teaching provided,
Her Kerrits Story: Not yet, but I'll get working on it!
